Weekend Reading – Money tips, mortgage freedom and more

Welcome to your Weekend Reading list where I share some of my favourite articles from the week that was…even if this edition is a little later than usual.

Enjoy the rest of the May long weekend.

Mr. CBB was mortgage free in 5 years. From his site, including quoting my site, “we eventually took advantage of the 20% mortgage pay down option each year and paid off $32,651 as a lump”.

The Dividend Guy wondered if portfolio size matters.

Boomer & Echo had some good reads.

Michael James on Money said there is a cost that comes with the portfolio concentration of just 20 stocks.

Freedom Thirty Five Blog wrote about his covered call.

Have a great weekend!

  1. That’s a great list of Canadian articles. With the tax season behind us I’m sure lots of people will be looking to readjust their financial situations. Thanks for the mention 🙂

  2. Thanks for sharing Mark, it’s been a balancing act that’s for sure. Now that it’s gone we can focus more on bringing our investments up to where they should be. It may take some time but what else do we have in life. Have a great long-weekend mate. Mr.CBB
