With my official launch date yesterday I’m happy to announce visitors and dedicated readers of My Own Advisor are presented with a new and improved site layout. Over the last few weeks, thanks to the technical expertise and stellar work of Avrom from Dividend Ninja my site has undergone a significant overhaul. I hope this new layout is not only pleasing to your eye but easier to navigate and have some fun with. Here’s a quick tour of the new, freshly pressed My Own Advisor!
Using the Archives page you can find all my blogposts sorted by category or date posted and view my latest 50 posts. Within a few clicks, you can find any content on my site, content that now covers almost 4 years of blogging.
You’ll find my About & Contact page accessible at the top right of the site; quick reference to drop me a line and ask me any questions.
Just below that, you can find ways to join over 1,800 followers who follow me on Twitter, “Like” yours truly with 500+ fans on Facebook and get RSS feeds of my content as well. (When RSS using Feedburner is working properly that is!) This is why I also want to highlight my new Subscribe box, encouraging you and others to join almost 1,000 subscribers so you never miss any articles.
On the topic of articles, Featured articles are now highlighted on my homepage so if you only have a minute to visit, you have upfront, quick access to some cool articles I think you should focus on.
Lastly, in my sidebar you can check out my most popular posts, latest posts and comments using a super-simple widget.
There are more minor improvements to come on My Own Advisor but overall I’m very pleased with the layout and redesign effort. I hope you take some time to browse around and check it out. While browsing, if you have some suggestions for my site or if you find something that isn’t working quite right please add a comment to this post or email me. I always want to hear from readers and regarding these changes in particular, I want to ensure things on the upgraded site are running smoothly so you can enjoy a rewarding experience.
Thanks for your continued support of My Own Advisor. It is appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you!
